Im going to Martha’s vineyard on a vacation in a few weeks and i don’tknoww what to pack……?
For those of you that don’t know what it is, its an island off of the south massachusetts coast…..
We will be staying for a week. MY mom told me to pack light because we need to be able to fit everything (all five of us) luggage and food in the back. So how many shorts, types of shoes, shirts, and etc should i bring
Hi, Martha’s Vineyard is a very casual place so that hopefully will help you determine what to pack. You will not need fancy shoes or extravagant outfits.
You would do fine with a pair of flip-flops and one pair of casual shoes. You should have a couple of pairs of shorts for walking around the towns. You might also want to bring some light pants or nylon sweat-pants or capri’s (don’t know if you’re a girl or boy) because it gets cooler at night on the Vineyard.
Remember to bring sunscreen…there are great beaches on the Vineyard…and sunglasses. You’ll also probably want a camera.
Generally, the Vineyard is filled with folks in t-shirts and shorts…possibly polo shirts…but the “style” is very “beach casual”. So, you won’t need to bring much…and that should make your mom happy : )
