Sure, they are fine. I even like the wide base. This will prevent tipping.
However, I would just like to point out that stands like these are quite easy to build at home with a few tools. I made some similar using oak planks on top and bottom and 3 equal lengths of 3/4″ conduit.
All I did was cut the wood to size, route the edges, drill 3 3/4″ holes half way through the wood and insert the conduit rods into the holes with some glue.
It was an easy job and it cost far less than the price you see on those stands. They also look great.
