What is the best, affordable counter-top water PURIFICATION (not just filtration) system?
Please do not include faucet models. I’ve heard my water is treated with chlorine or bleach? I live in the San Geronimo Valley, CA. (Forest Knolls. )
I buy reverse osmosis/UV sterilized water in 5 gallon bottles for a stand dispenser. I pay a quarter a gallon.
Good purifier units cost upwards of 900 – 1400 dollars and the maintenance is expensive every year. They also waste 4 gallons for every gallon of drinkable water produced.
I’d consider getting a price for water delivery or just use a Britta jug filter.
